Cancellation
In line with The Distance Selling Act, you as the consumer have the right to cancel you order without reason within 14 days of purchase.
To cancel an order please send an e-mail to www.westlakeaudio.co.uk stating your full name, address, telephone contact number. Please put the words ORDER CANCELLATION and the transaction ID in the E-Mail SUBJECT Header. Any courier charges arising from a cancelled order must be paid by the purchaser, except where the goods supplied have be deemed faulty or have been supplied in error. We can arrange for collection of a cancelled order on your behalf, and a collection charge will be must be processed when the collection time is arranged. NB: Do not return goods until we have arranged this with you.
Orders cannot be cancelled if the goods have been opened or altered by the purchaser in any way. Where this case may occur and goods have been returned opened, a re-stocking fee will be charged. You will be issued a full refund when we have received and checked that the goods are undamaged, unopened, and unused.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Returns Procedure
First of all we pride ourselves on exceptional service and outstanding value, so if you have a problem with any purchase through www.westlakeaudio.co.uk we are here to help.
Westlake Audio provide a standard 12 month warranty on all new products and a 30 day warranty on all pre-owned goods unless stated , this does not included ‘ trade sales / clearence and broken items’. If you believe your product may be faulty and it is within the agreed guarantee period then please call us on 07967 670522 stating that you are looking to return an item purchased through www.westlakeaudio.co.uk and you will be directed to the appropriate department where we will do our best to either solve the problem or arrange to have the product returned as soon as possible. Please also consider that a problem with a product may be due to part of the operation that you had not considered, e.g. in the case of hardware you have purchased, it may have been fitted incorrectly or another part of your equipment may be defective or faulty. Where possible we will assist with this over the phone and hopefully resolve the issue without putting you to the inconvenience of returning the product.
If your product is returned to us, we will test the item to confirm that there is a manufacturing fault. As long as the item is returned, ‘as new’ containing all accessories and original packaging, we will dispatch a replacement unit where available to you at no extra cost. Where an item may no longer be available in this case, we will do our best to ensure we can provide an alternative or issue you with a full refund.
If we receive a returned item and in testing by a qualified engineer discover that the fault is the result of misuse, e.g., the item has been dropped, the speakers or equipment have been blown due to being overdriven/ underdriven etc, the return will be considered as a non-warranty repair and will be subject to a repair charge.

We pride ourselves on making sure that your order is dispatched as efficiently as possible and it is delivered within the specified time-frame. If you have any problems then we are here to help, so please contact us as soon as you can, and we will put 100% into making sure that we can resolve any issues. If you require a specific time for your goods to arrive we can also offer non-standard shipping times, at an additional cost. Please contact us for further details if the standard deliver options do not suite you.
We deliver to all UK destinations as standard. All standard delivery charges are to mainland UK only. Where you may be ordering outside the regions covered by our couriers standard charges, i.e, some UK highland and island destinations, a surcharge may be applicable. We reserve the right to charge additional costs in delivery instances where they may occur and we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you of any additional cost.
All our UK web orders are dispatched via industry standard couriers. As soon as your goods are dispatched we will notify you via e-mail. If you need to track the progress of your delivery you can do so by visiting the provided link and entering the consignment number found on your dispatch confirmation, or alternatively contact us and we can help with this process.
